With the reduction in physical workout, our health has started showing us the importance of soluble fibers. Soluble fiber is a key factor of metabolic health since it helps in reducing body cholestrol. It is found in oatmeal, lentils, beans, nuts, flaxseed, and psyllium, to name a few examples. It is also found in fruits high in pectin, such as apples, citrus, and berries. Whole grains also provide soluble fiber, but they aren’t enough to meet your body’s needs.
